We are happy to announce our newest enhancement at Face Rx MD; Britenol Intensive Spot Corrector! Britenol is a spot correcting serum, which targets and effectively reduces the appearance of dark spots to help achieve an even complexion.

Britenol helps reduce the appearance of dark spots due to hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is an extremely common skin condition in which some areas become darker; this darkening is due to an excess amount of pigment, better known as melanin, forming deposits or collecting together in a concentrated area. These dark spots can be from a variety of different factors, including age, sun exposure, sun damage, hormonal changes, genetics or even acne scarring.

Another popular use of Britenol is to help lighten your complexion if you’re trying to achieve more pale or fair skin. Pale or fair skin is considered a trait of beauty in many Asian cultures and skin lightening products are very popular. Unfortunately, not all lightening and brightening products are safe; they may be effective, but the damage isn’t worth the result!
